Here's all those fancy pics from Fandemonium 2010. I took a lot more pictures this year; roughly twice as many, and I put all the good ones on this here interweb page-mo-tron for you to enjoy. Also, I should note that I didn't even get pictures half of the people in costumes, so if you're trying to figure out just how awesome Fandemonium is, add these pictures to last year's pictures, double it, carry the three, and you've about got it.

The first batch of pictures is of me and all my friends in our spectacular costumes.

Leo puts on his robe and wizard hat.
This is my costume, [subject name here]. I decided to take a break from testing portal devices in increasingly lethal testing rooms to take my only companion with me to a convention. There was an oddly familiar robotic voice during the proceedings, though...

Of course, I had to include the aperture logo, and those little leg things that nobody knows what they are.

I should note that there were a lot of people excited about my costume. There were a lot MORE people excited to see a companion cube.

Leo's brother, Alex, as Starkiller from the Force Unleashed.
On the left is Matt, as Alan Wake. Not too many people recognized him, since Alan Wake dresses like a normal person. On the right is Steve, as Leon from RE4.
Here's David as Wesker, after he decided that Neo was the final word in fashion.
Leon and Wesker spot each other, and we felt this was the most likely outcome.
He's an agent out to save the president's daughter; he's a virus infected mad man bent on ruling the world; they team up together in the feel good buddy movie of the summer!
Let's try not to muck up the timeline, okay?

So Wesker, Leon, Leondo, and an Aperture Science Enrichment Center Test Subject enter a Rock Band tournament...

We won, by the way; by the skin of our teeth.

Crap! If I had just left my radio on, these two wouldn't have snuck up on me!
Those two Silent Hill Nurses came back the next day as Steampunk girls. Hotness on the right won 3rd place in the costume contest.
Belldandy
This was definitely one of my favorites. This gal went all out on her Ezio costume. Even had a ton of throwing knives on her.
Naruto (as well as Bleach) is always a fan favorite at fandemonium, and those two series get more costumes than any other. Because there are so many, and because I'm really not a big fan of either, I only make it a point to take pictures of the really well done ones.
I told her that I didn't think Gara ever smiles, so she gave me this look. I'm not sure if she was just posing, or if she was pissed at me, but either way it made for a good photo op.

"Hey, Kool-Aid!"

"OH YEAH!"

And here's Batgirl, hugging Batman. I don't think the real Batman appreciates hugs.
My favorite Batman character makes another appearance this year.
Apparently, the bottom of the rabbit hole leads to Fandemonium, which is about as strange a place as Wonderland, anyway.
I want that hat.
You guys know about the Chain Mail Bikini, right? By my logic, she's invulnerable right now.
I definitely like this Lina costume more than last year's.
As stated previously, I only take pictures of the really good Naruto and Bleach characters. I thought the mask here was a nice touch.
There were more than a few Final Fantasy characters, but I thought this was the best Cloud.
And I'm always happy to see Cid.
I actually don't know who this is. I forgot to ask her, and internet searches have proven futile. I think she might be someone from Trinity Blood, but I'm not really certain. Anyway, cool costume.
Alucard. He has a sweet gun.
Seras. She has a sweeter gun.
Greed and Envy from Fullmetal Alchemist. Was Envy's tattoo on her thigh, or was it her foot? Wait, am I thinking of Wrath? Wait, which Wrath, comic or anime? Great, now I have to watch the series again or I'll be up all night wondering.
This costume was pretty sweet, simply because of the wings. You see those strings she's holding? When she pulls them, her wings pop out; otherwise, they stay folded.
'Baby, when you get this cool, you don't bother with the details" - Dante

You know, I actually watched Inuyasha for a little while. Then I missed a few episodes, and when I came back I was all like "wait, weren't they searching for broken pieces of a jewel or something? Did they just abandon that?" And that's about the time I stopped caring.

Cool Kikyo outfit, though.

I asked why he dressed up as a zebra version of Inuyasha, but he couldn't give me an answer. I guess some mysteries are just beyond our comprehension.
THIS Vash the Stampede managed to get the "love and peace" sign right!
I don't care what anyone says, I liked the 4th Indian Jones. They tell me things like "There's no way he'd survive a nuclear blast by hiding in a fridge" or "Aliens? Seriously?" My response is usually "What, and the Holy Grail being real and granting immortality was more believable?"
Nick and Ellis take a break from zombie killing to sell some art.
Louis found his PEELZ.

Shh... Lights out...

They apparently had a contest where this witch hid in a corner somewhere and started crying. You had to disturb her and get her to chase you all the way back to the stage without getting touched. Man I love Fandemonium.

I managed to get this picture right before I got pounced. Fortunately, I had friends to get him off me and help me stand up. After that, I ran ahead on my own and got killed by a Smoker. After that, I cursed the very people who had helped me for not being there and rage quit. Cuz that's how I roll.

It's Fandemonium, where you can see a Hunter and a Monk playing Wii together.
Cinderella. I thought the mice were a nice touch.
Laharl. I suppose if I have to choose between someone who's too buff to be Laharl and someone who's too fat, I'll take buff.
This male Faye Valentine was both impressive and creepy, so I had to get a picture. You guys are lucky I spared you from seeing his hairy stomach.

Swing your arms, from side to side,

Come on, it's time to go, DO THE MARIO!

It seems the Shy Guys have fallen on hard times...
Yo, dawg, we heard you like miniatures. So we got you some miniatures for your miniatures, so they can play with them while you play with them!
Link's shield is made of wood, so despite it's appearance, it is indeed weak to fire.
Crusader Link. As this guy explained it, "why should Kirby be the only one who gets to change? Link is 10 times as cool as Kirby, so he should get different outfits, too!" Makes sense to me.
Wait, two Majora's Masks? Did all that time travel make a duplicate or something?
This guy ran a panel on making your own armor, which I of course attended after seeing his costume. He won second place in the costume contest, by the way. And I know what you're thinking, "If this guy was second, who could possibly have won first?"
Well, first place went to these two: Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus (hee hee! Uranus). Why did these two win? Well, apparently, Sailor Uranus made every bit of both these outfits from scratch. And I mean every bit; the clothes, the shoes, the wigs. Even the tiaras were fashioned from raw materials, engraved, and inlaid with gemstones she cut herself (I'm assuming they're fake gemstones, but I'm honestly not certain). So, screw you, Master Chief, these girls earned that win!
Conversely, Shirt Ninja, here, put about as little effort into his costume as possible, and it was still awesome!
By the way, here's everyone who participated in the Costume Contest, including me.
Apparently, this guy is "Soap," one of the characters you play in Call of Duty 4. I'm not really into the Call of Duty series (or most first person shooters, for that matter), so I wouldn't really know.
And, apparently, this guy is Price, also from Call of Duty 4. Again, I wouldn't really know.
However, this is a first person shooter I play quite a bit (well, used to, anyway). FYI, she needs a dispenser, here.
It's the dude from Tron!
It's Bronco Fett, the sports loving bounty hunter!

Yo, dawg, we heard you like star wars...

Okay, no more Yo dawg jokes from me.

Transform and roll out!
Mitsuru, I believe, from Persona 3. At least, I think it's her. I don't remember her ever wearing the jacket, but it's been a long time since I played.
I don't think she's gonna make it...
One guess as to who's not coming back from this mission...
It's not really a convention if you don't have at least one Klingon, right?
These costumes are SUPER EFFECTIVE!

See, I can't really think of any comments here, because I never watched G.I. Joe when I was a kid. And, I know, you think that makes me a heathen or something.

But kids, we need to respect other people's opinions, and not shun them just because we don't like the same things they do.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!

G.I. JOOOOOOOOOE!

I'll bet you didn't know that wolverine enjoys spending time at conventions on his days off. I also bet you didn't know that he loses a lot of muscle mass when he goes, either.
Yeah, his power level is over 9000, so what? Mine's, like, over a jillion. what's that? His power level is raised to two jillion? Well, then, I'll just raise mine to eight gazillion!
Oh, heck yeah, there's a Majin Buu!
They had a "create you're own horror movie killer" contest, and this was the first round winner, "The Creature With No Name." I got entered as the killer in the second round, "Test Subject 13." Unfortunately, we don't have a picture of me in my killer costume, because my friends were too busy complaining about me not taking enough pictures to take pictures themselves. I'm looking at you, Leo.
Now, I believe this is Xion from Kingdom Hearts 2. But, since I didn't get much further than the longest intro in gaming history, I can't say for certain.
They also had a swordplay demonstration, which I imagine was pretty cool. Sadly, I did not attend, so thanks to Steve for getting this picture for me.

And with that , Fandemonium is now over. All that's left are the memories, the pictures, and a Companion Cube plushie to hang out with my Sonic plushie. Which is good, cause I imagine he gets pretty lonely when I'm not around.

Drop by next year in a cool costume, and I'll try to take your picture!
