Just a quick update while we're partying hard at Fandemonium, I thought I'd show you guys how Leo's Leondo costume turned out. As a special bonus, if you're attending Fandemonium during this week, and you identify Leo's cosplay as Leondo, you get a free hug.
By the way, shout out to the gal who works at The Costume Shop. When we went there looking for costume supplies, she actually knew who Leondo was! The recognition made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

There were alot of Naruto costumes. Including about a bijillion that I didn't recognize. But I liked this guy's hair the best. |
It's a shame that the reflectors on his shirt and gloves screwed up my picture, cause this is an AWESOME Chris Redfield. Note how, in addition to his pistol, Chris thinks ahead, and packs The Zombie Survival Guide.
Incidentally, this guy won the talent competition for singing this song. |

Fox and Marth wanted to make sure I wasn't going after that smash ball. This photo doesn't show you, but Marth's sword was HUGE! Litterally as big as he was. |

| Oh, and speaking of Brawl, this was the turnout for the Brawl Contest. I made it all the way to the finals, but got knocked out quickly in the last round. |

This guy was pretty happy when I accurately guessed he was a raider from Fallout 3. My second guess was going to be a raider from Mad Max. |
| There are alot of things I love about Fandemonium, not the leas of which is the fact that they have a fan set up in the hall specifically for dramatic poses. |

I'm not a huge fan of Slayers, myself, but I am a huge fan of awesome costumes. |

I saw the gal in a Haninotsuka costume, and I just about flipped. That's right, I enjoy Ouran High School Host Club. I'm allowed to enjoy girly things. |
| Playing the "which one is Hikaru" game would probably have been more difficult if they weren't wearing name badges. Or, maybe they switched badges... |

| Harley Quinn is, without a doubt, my favorite character EVER. |

So, Naturally, I'm torn between which Harley costume was best. I felt that the overall quality of the previous costume was better... but this one has a big freaking hammer. |
| There were alot of Joker costumes at the convention, but this one was the best. And not just because it was the best quality of Joker costume (which it was), but mostly because he had a posse of jokers. A friend of mine actually saw one such joker pop somebody's balloon then walk on. |

I had to chase after this scout for two days before I managed to get a picture of him. I didn't have much trouble with anybody else, but this guy was always running away. |
| I feel confident with this guy around, because I know that if I'm ever on fire, he'll be there to put it out. |

I was really impressed with this Engineer costume. The attention to detail was really astounding, and his Texas accent was dead on. He kept asking me where his own sentry was, though, which struck me as a little odd. |
| Of the two scouts I saw I fest this one was better. Mostly because he had the Force of Nature. |

This guy was awesome. Not only did he get the costume down perfect, but he had Rorschach's mannerisms down. |
| This is a photo of everyone who competed in the costume contest. I forget who won, but there were all pretty cool. This is also the only picture I ever got of the female splicer (far left), which is unfortunate. I really needed that increased damage! |
